Our Tyrolean Rhapsody expedition will test your driving skills with stunning mountains as a backdrop. The Tyrol region of Austria, and Süd-Tyrol region of northern Italy offer drivers some of the most scenic and dynamic roads paired with a rich cultural and culinary heritage. Explore the folk traditions, exotic wine varietals, and epic Alpine roads in this 3-country journey for the senses across the enchanting Tyrolean landscape.

THE ITINERARY

GERMANY, AUSTRIA, ITALY

DAY 1 – Munich

Arrival and Free Day in Munich. Vehicle delivery, welcome cocktail and dinner at a typical Bavarian biergarten in the evening.

DAY 2 – Zell Am See

Drive from Munich to the beautiful lakeside town of Zell Am See in Austria. Dinner at an enchanting property run by the Porsche family.

DAY 3 – Großglockner Rallye

Test your skills on one of the world’s most renowned High Alpine Roads. Lunch at the trendy Mankei Hut, designed by architect Ferdi Porsche.

DAY 4 – Großglockner Day 2

Breakfast in Zell Am See. Morning drive to the one of the best roads in Austria. Then drive to Villach, on the Drava River in the Austrian province of Carinthia, near the Italian & Slovenian borders.

DAY 5 – Nockberge Rallye

Drive to another one of Austria’s top 5 best driving destinations. Drive from Austria to famed luxury ski resort town of Cortina d’Ampezzo in Italy.

DAY 6 – Dolomites Rallye

Morning Rallye in the heart of the otherworldy Dolomite mountains. Free afternoon in Cortina. Special activities provided or available upon request.

DAY 7 – Cortina to Merano

Drive from Cortina d’Ampezzo to the beautiful Alpine town of Merano in Italy’s South Tyrol region. Merano is a charming destination in a beautiful winemaking area known for its spas and art nouveau buildings.

DAY 8 – Timmelsjoch

Breakfast in the quaint süd-Tyrol city of Merano. Drive from Merano, Italy to Stuttgart, Germany via Timmelsjoch pass.

DAY 9 – Porsche Museum

Morning visit to the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart. Lunch at the Christophorus Restaurant. Afternoon drive to the Munich Airport on the Autobahn for vehicle return and departure the next day.
