005 NEW EUROPEAN TRAVEL RULES
Picture this: You’ve spent months meticulously planning your dream trip to Europe — the art galleries in Paris, the winding roads in Tuscany, the pubs in Dublin where the Guinness tastes just like heaven. You’ve bought the tickets, booked the hotels, and practiced your “merci” and “grazie” like a true world traveler. Then, you get to the airport… and the chaos begins.
New travel rules. Because apparently, “just showing up” with your passport and a good attitude is no longer enough.

004 UNDER THE HOOD: Paolo Pietri
Our family has been driving Porsches in Europe for over 22 years. From the first day of the first rallye in 2003, we were hooked. What started as a bucket list item, became a family tradition like our annual ski trips to Colorado. At one point we had a stretch where we’d go multiple times a year. And we would make a real adventure of it combining the drives with F1 Grand Prix or the FIFA World Cup. I’ll never forget once jetting off with my father for a 4-day binge during a Porsche Freunde event in Dinslaken, Germany.

003 LIFE AT 200 MILES PER HOUR
The day I drove 200 mph on the Autobahn for the first time, I had no intention of pushing myself or the Porsche 996 GT2 I was driving to the limit. I didn’t set out on dawn patrol to deliberately catch an empty road and gun it. I was simply taking the car to a storage facility on the outskirts of Würzburg before returning home on the other side of the Atlantic. I was a little rushed because I had to return to Munich to see about a girl, but the thought of driving 200 mph had not crossed my mind. Until it did.

002 TOP 7 HIGH PERFORMANCE DRIVING GUIDES
We get asked this question all the time: How good of a driver do I need to be to come on one of your rallyes? Maybe you haven’t had much time behind the wheel of a Porsche or any sports car. And even less time on the track. Truth is, as this article shows, anyone of any skill level can join our road adventures. The point is not to be a great driver going in, but to be a better driver coming out.

001 WHY WE RALLYE
In a world where human exploration has left no stone unturned, new frontiers come from new endeavors. Faced with the challenge of the unfamiliar, our brains activate the body’s natural stress response system, known as “fight-or-flight”. These physiological changes are as thrilling as they are terrifying.
When you embrace your fears and choose to “fight”, your body prepares for action, optimizes systems for enhanced performance, and beckons you to forge ahead. Once you overcome the uncertainty of novelty, the anxiety of anticipation turns into the euphoria of accomplishment.
